01Why we exist

Today, someone open to working for any council in their area has to check dozens of separate websites. Most only check the one or two they know, and outside the sector, few people think to look at council jobs at all.

Council People puts every council role in one place, found through everyday Google job searches and our career pathway tool, which shows people roles at their level and where a council career could take them. More people seeing council careers means a bigger pool for every council.

03How it works

1. Send us your roles. Post them directly through your own Council People account, or simply email the links to support@councilpeople.com.
2. We list them exactly as you advertise them. Emailed roles go live within one working day.
3. Candidates apply on your own portal. We hold no CVs or candidate data, and your recruitment process doesn't change.

If your recruitment system can share vacancies automatically, we'll set that up so your roles appear without anyone posting them.
